На ней велась незаконная торговля наркотиками, украденными данными, поддельными документами и цифровыми услугами.Против операторов и администраторов omg ведется предварительное расследование, они подозреваются в коммерческой деятельности криминальных торговых площадок в интернете, коммерческом приобретении или предоставлении возможности для нелегальной торговли наркотиками, а также отмывании денег.На платформе были зарегистрированы более 19 000 продавцов и около 17 млн пользователей, сообщает ведомство. По его оценкам, торговая площадка omg могла иметь самый большой оборот в мире — только в 2020 г. продажи на ней составляли не менее 1,23 млрд евро.Конфискации предшествовали масштабные расследования, которые проводились Федеральным управлением уголовной полиции и Центральным управлением по борьбе с интернет-преступностью с августа 2021 г. при участии американских правоохранителей.Браузер Tor работает через сеть, состоящую из тысяч узлов-серверов, которая позволяет пользователям защититься от отслеживания их интернет-трафика и анонимно пользоваться сетью. Соединение в этой системе происходит через цепь других IP-адресов.
